She is very pleased with it, due to the fact that it warms up quickly without getting so hot as to be uncomfortable and because she can operate the simple controls easily despite having severe arthritis in both hands. She also likes the fact that it comes without the automatic shut-off timer that many heating pads have. The size is good for larger areas such as an aching back or using for both feet at the same time. Overall it performs well and is an excellent value for the price.
